Privacy Policy

Narrow (“we”, “us”) is a Bible and daily prayer app. We built it so that your prayers stay yours. This policy explains, in plain words, what happens to your information.

The short version

• Narrow works without an account.
• Your prayers, reflections, sermon notes, streak and settings are stored only on your device. We do not receive them.
• We do not sell your data, and we do not show ads.

Information stored on your device

Prayer requests, answered prayers, daily path reflections, sermon notes, memorization progress, reading position, your first name (if you enter one) and reminder time are saved locally on your iPhone. They are included in your device’s own iCloud or computer backups, which are controlled by you and Apple. Deleting the app deletes this data.

Location

If you use “Near me”, Narrow asks for your location while the app is in use to find churches nearby. The search is performed by Apple Maps (MapKit). We do not store or receive your location.

Notifications

Daily reminders are scheduled locally on your device. No notification data is sent to us.

Audio Bible

When you play the audio Bible, the recording is streamed from our content storage. Like any website, the server that delivers the audio file may briefly log technical information such as your IP address. We do not link this to you.

Purchases

Subscriptions (Narrow+) are processed entirely by Apple. The app checks your subscription status directly with Apple on your device. We never receive your name, email or payment details.

Crash reports and usage statistics

To fix bugs, we may collect anonymous crash reports and basic, anonymous usage counts (for example, how many people opened the daily path). These never include the content of your prayers, notes or reflections.

Children

Narrow is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Your choices

You can turn off location and notifications at any time in iOS Settings. Because your personal content stays on your device, you can delete it by deleting the app.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will update the date above and, for meaningful changes, let you know in the app.
